Dr Nick Larkins

About Nick

Dr. Larkins is a consultant paediatric nephrologist with expertise in caring for children with all forms of kidney disease. 

He graduated from the University of Western Australia with Honours in 2005 and completed basic training at Princess Margaret Hospital. Following this, he undertook a clinical fellowship in paediatric nephrology at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital (Vancouver, Canada) and further training at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead (Sydney) before returning to practice in his home town of Perth.

Dr. Larkins also works at Perth Children’s Hospital and has an interest in delivering evidence-based practice. He holds a Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology, PhD from University of Sydney, and is one of Australia’s leading clinical researchers in the field. He has a strong record of contributing to the community and organisations for children with kidney disease including ANZPNA, TSANZ, and IPNA.
