About Jehan

Dr. Suleiman completed her specialization in Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, Australia.

She holds the Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology and has a PhD in Medicine from The University of Sydney, Australia.

She is devoted to deliver the best care to children with paediatric neurology and neurodevelopmental disorders, including:

  • Epilepsy and seizure disorders
  • Headache
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Neuroimmunology (such as paediatric onset multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis).
  • Neuromuscular disorders (such as muscle dystrophies, spinal muscle atrophy, including using the new novel therapies)
  • Rare Neurogenetic and Neurometabolic disorders
  • Stroke

In addition, she has academic and research interests in the field of paediatric neuroimmunology and neurogenetics with many publications.

She even has a syndrome named after her (Suleiman-El-Hattab Syndrome or SULEHS).
